A painful reminder[open]

I decide not to hesitate and just go for it. I jump high into the sky, and use my wind magic to propel me down onto him.

I watched, his display of haste woul be his downfall. I prepared to block the strike, but at the last moment I simply stepped to the side slightly and parried, a simple maneuver where you change the direction of your opponents strike by angling your sword so that once the attack makes contact it just slides or bounces off. The way I parried I let his sword slide down the length of my sword, now pointing to the ground with the hilt above my head, intending to send him into te ground beside me.

I strike but he parries it. I then use some wind magic to propel myself back so I can charge again, this time on the ground. "Yah!"

I stood patiently, my left arm holding my sword out infront of me. I waited for him I get closer to see how he would strike.

I decide to give me swing a little more strength, so I use my wind magic to increase the velocity of my swing.

I smiled as I ducked, again late as possible, and angled my sword so his slid strait off it upwards, over my head where my sword was held. A then kicked out with one foot, making me spin, slashing at his ribs.

"Nyeh!" In a split second I parry his sword swing. I then go in for an uppercutting kick.

Using the momentum of the sword being parried, I used my fingers and twirled my blade around and put the sword out infront of me, so if tom continued with the kick he would use his leg.

I see that he had positioned his sword in the way of my kick. So I meet it with a swing of my sword. "*CLANG!*"

After the swing was blocked and held in place by my sword I jumped back, swinging my sword back into constant motion for defence "can I try now....?" I asked with a slightly bored tone.

I was a tad uneasy about how he was so bored with this. "Alright wise guy, you take a shot and see how well that does ya".

I smirked as my sword became a blur, and then I was beside him, a flash of steel as I released a burst of demonic energy the ground around me was sliced apart as I sent 12 slashes around his body, towards different non vital spots along the arms legs and.

"Neyh!" I use my sword to block the slashes, but the backlash knocks me back "Urg!". I fall back, tumble, and then regain my footing. "Dang, there was a lot of power behind that energy..."

"Quick sword technique..." I laughed as a boulder dropped from a void infront of me, I closed my eyes for a few seconds, when I opened all you could see was the demonic energy swelling around my had for a second. I slashed across the boulder once. But in actuality I slashed it a multitude of times. I waited for his expression as the boulder crumbled into pieces "are you ready to get serious...?" I said begining to twirl my sword with my left hand, using my fingers to create a intricate display of prersise, non wasted movements.

"Guess I have to be". I start forming a great amount of compressed energy in front of myself. I was ready to bring on one of my most devastating attacks.

I smiled as I tossed the blade to the side, catching it with my right hand "I should tell you.... I'm right handed" with that I was gone, not wanting to be caught up with the energy he was generating. I appeared behind him sending 32 slashes at his back and limbs.

"GAH!" I feel the tip of his blade make cuts in my back as I turn around and instantly release my attack at him.

Feeling the power of the energy and watching tom turn, I opened a full length void which swallowed the energy. And the exit opened directly behind tom, the explosive energy bursting forth. I let the first void dissapear, holding my sword at stomach height and waited for science to take effect. Within 3 seconds this sequence was finished, and I wondered how he would counter.

"His void trick again" I thought to myself. It took me the instant he held in sword out to figure out what he was trying to do. I forced myself high into the sky with an intense gust of wind.

Knowing he was vulnerable in the air I appeared beside him slashing at him persisely, going for the joints so he'd be unable to fight.

I see my opponent in the corner of my eye, and create a gust, making some distance between me and his blade.

As I felt the gust brush by me and blow tom away from me I disappeared, appearing in toms path taking a monstrous slash at his side.

"This guy won't quit will he?" I thought to myself as he appeared in front of me, I used my wind magic to turn myself into a twister, hitting the flat part of his blade.

When tom bagan to spin I started to use my voids. Obviously out of range I stabbed forward and into a void and the blade emerged behind tom, stabbing towards him "wasn't this a spar...?"

His sword scraps various parts of my body before I get one solid shot at him. "I don't find it much of a spar if I could be skewered at any moment".
