First shift

I am working as a waitress at the restaurant for the first time. I walk around giving out food and drinks, usually to some very rude men. Is it this bad at the bar? I avoid the feet of children trying to trip me. I do not need to spill something already.

Marion skipped lightly into the restaurant, seeing the sign that says to seat yourself and find a table in the open. Hmm, what do I want to eat?

I see a woman that hasn't had any service yet and everyone else has been served. I walk up to and smile. "Hello. I am Rya and I will be your waitress today. Can I start you off with any drinks?"

"Hello, can I have a glass of milk?" Marion smiles softly at the neko and giggles softly. "What is a cute girl such as yourself doing here?"

I blush at the girls statement. "Um, I have to make some money. I'll be right back with your milk." I go to get her some milk. I come back with it. "Can I get you something to eat?"

"Just a fish would be nice." Marion smiles softly as she looks up the shy girl up and down. "Thank you for the milk." She takes a sip and swings her feet.

I smile at the girl, and not just because I have to. I go put in the order and wait for them to cook it. When it is done, I bring it to the girl. "Careful hun it is hot. Is there anything else I can get you?"

"Care to chat a bit?" Marion's ear twitch softly as her tail swishes back and forth. She lets the fish cool down a bit before she starts to eat.

"I, um.... I don't think my boss would like that." I look around and don't see anyone I need to help so I decide to sit. "Oh well. I guess I could sit and talk to a cute girl like you."

Marion giggles and blushes at the compliment. "You are prettier then me though." She offers Rya some milk as she keeps eating. "My name is Marion by the way."

I turn down the milk. "Nice to meet you Marion. And I'm not that pretty." I swing my tail around and hug it.

"I think you are." Marion scoots next to Rya and gives her a hug.

I blush at her hug and try not to squirm too much. I-I kinda like this. I don't really mind her hugging me. "You are the first person to ever tell me that."

Marion giggles softly and pets Rya softly. "Well they don't know what they are looking at then." She purrs softly on her own accord, enjoying the company she has.

"They see a scared girl who is afraid to be around people, let alone be with someone." I look around at all the people here. "I am only here because I need the money. I hate this job."

Sterling walked through the Nip, preparing for one of his Bartender jobs. Bartender was a nice way of saying waiter. or barista or whatever you call it these days. He saw a new employee with some chick. "Yo, want some drinks?" he asked.

Marion looks up at the man who just walked up to them. "No thank you, I have milk." SHe smiles softly and keeps petting Rya.

"No. I really shouldn't be drinking on the job. Thank's though."

"No problem," Sterling replied as he got to the back of the counter. He began to polish the countertop, oblivious to the fact that it would look like a disaster zone by the end of the night. He then took off his Arcane Mage costume, and put on a pair of jeans and a black shirt. Sterling then greased his hair up and put a pair of shades through it, ready for the bullcrap he would be facing.

"He seems weird." Marion giggled and drank a little milk.

"Eh, what are you going to do?" I start to loosen up around Marion. She's so pretty!

Sterling looked at the two before taking an order from a belligerent individual, "Those two must really like each other........."

"So when you get out of work, do you want to spend some time together?" Marion smiles softly and kisses her cheek softly.

I blush a dark red. "I-I-I.... Um... Uh.." I couldn't think straight. Finally I snap out of it. "Y-Yes I would."

"That would be fun!~" Marion giggled softly, finishing her fish and milk. "Could I get some desert?"
