Bloodstained Past, Forgiven?

"So this is where it happened? so long ago, I wonder have these people forgotten the torture they went through, pity these humans don't live so long but still they carry past with them through old books and scarps of paper" I look across the town and lowering my hat to cover my face. As I walked through the town I looked to find the remnants of the long ago clash that had claimed the lives of many here.

"Looking at the scars of the war against the angels?" I walk up beside him, looking at the damage that was never quite fixed. "Its easy to forget that humans don't live as long as the other races."

I smirk, "you shouldn't try to sneak up on people like that it could cause bad things to happen" looks at the city as I place a hand on the hilt of my katana "humans still carry things through their generations stories and items" i examine the rooftops eyeing them "almost as bad as vermin and lesser beings, always wanting revenge"

"Not always, there are many how just want to move on and living peacefully." I look over the demon, noticing his hand on his sword. "I don't plan on attacking you, I Ember by the way."

"of course, it would be strange to square off right here" I smirk as I walk forward "but a warrior can never let his guard down especially in a place where ill feelings are left in the soil and the very buildings that have remained"

"I Know, I've been around for centuries." I turn around and look at the humans milling around. "So what is a demon like yourself doing around here?"

I pause as glance somewhat back "No reason, my blade is on the move and my actions are for those that purchase them or to protect those that deserve not the pain" smirks what about you? why are you here?

"Just passing through, I come by here often, it helps keep the memories of my family," I sigh as a small tear falls down my face. "The only thing I have left of them is this scarf." I adjust the scarf I'm wear, more so to point it out, then making it more comfortable.

"hehe sentimental, kinda strange, then again i never really bother speaking to your kind" Glances at the scarf for a moment, "tell me who slayed your family the angels or was it" smirks for a moment "something else?"

"When I was 21, I went out wandering through the woods trying to find food for my family. Then a vampire's home, she was cute and she thought the same of me and turned me. By the time I got back to my home, they were dead, killed by the angels." I wipe away my tears as I try to not cry.

"I see, how strange" Chuckles as i look up at the sky "no vengance no blood seeking? just regret that you couldn't have died with them?" looks back at him with a cold look "or are you burdening yourself with living their lives through you?" turns back and starts to walk towards an inn "it matters not to me i see what sort of being you are and i don't have much else to say to you there fore i shall part ways here unless you persist"

"Very well then, I have things to do anyhow." I begin to head in the opposite direction of him. "See you around."

I walk into the inn and instead of getting a room i find a chair in the corner and sit there setting my katana beside me as i close my eyes and let my senses tell me what are occupying the inn. "hmm...strange...2 humans and maybe....hmm..some other beings" I go silent as i keep my senses up and checking.
