The Weapon Crafter[open]

"I have a bit of practice with them. I'm just glad I won it free of charge." I say grinning widely "Now to see where to keep it." I say rolling it up.

"haha an excellent craft care to try it on me back?" Karnov chuckles as he walks out for a second then comes back carrying a large sack of what sounds of stones and metal "me brings my own materials" Karnov walks to the forge and opens the sack

"I dunno, don't think you'd wanna be on the wrong end of that whip". I glance as he walks over to the forge with his materials. "Well, that takes a load off for me..."

"Hmm... I'd rather try it on someone deserving." I say grinning "I might have use of it for someone disobedient in the future."

"Uh...alright then...". I slowly shuffle to the other side of the room.

Karnov chuckles "ah no man forged weapons brought me harm only me own have" as he pulls out various ores and hovers them over the forge "go ahead crack it on me back if I bleed then ye earned yoursellf a fine piece of work if not den this man needs to be a finer piece oh work" karnov chuckles as he puts pieces on the anvil. "If ye wants i can make ye one as well, variety is da fruit oh life as me paa said"

"Well, I'll have you know that for awhile, I had to make weapons for the angels. Though, I always enhanced those weapons with magic, unlike that whip she now holds".

"I know many games... but which are you playing Karnov?" I say unfurling the barbed thing "And what shall you win?"

Karnov grabbed the hammer and looked at it as he cast it aside "bah it matters not what you make the weapon for. it matters how ye make it" Karnov takes one of the black ore stones from his bag and smashes away at the molting ore he pulled from the furnace. "me game? hah i not be playing a game lass just curious if da craft holds to the weapon"

"Well, I know that much, or the stuff I craft wouldn't be good enough to be weapons". I chuckle.

As the two talk I twirl the barbed metal above my head and lash it down quickly from left to right as I was left handed the tip aimed for just below the shoulder to brag along the entire length of the mans back.

Karnov slams down on the molten ore and then looks at it "hmm not quite the right tick to be what it could be" Karnov goes back to slamming the stone down on the molten metal "be a good strike but me don't feel the blood comin out just yet"

A bit shocked by him just brushing that off I speak up. "Well, that had to sting..."

Karnov chuckled "me back has had more weapons to it then an army has had battles it's how i test all me weapons"

"Good to know". I laugh. "Although, I like to test my weapons on trees and rocks"

Karnov chuckles "how can ye know if you have a good weapon if ye can't draw yer own blood from usin it?" He slams down a few more times and shapes the blade of whatever he's crafting.

"Well, I may have a high tolerance to pain, that doesn't mean like getting inflicted with it".

Karnov chuckles "ai ai everyone be different me craft aint the same as your craft" karnov dunks the blade into a bucket of water "take it out if ye want"

"Uh...no thanks..."

Karnov chuckled, "eh suit ye self" Karnov turned back to his bag and grabbed a silver piece of metal and set it in the forge. "what sort of materials ye use for ye craft?"

"Well, just the metals I can find really, however, I've developed this technique where I can form a super durable alloy".

Karnov pulls out the silver metal and sets it on the anvil as he strokes his chin then pulls out a chunk of gold ore and strikes on the metal "I see, metal and rock are all components except where ye and others see using a hammer to forge yer weapons and armor me use other rocks and metals, strike one on another to make dem both stronger" Karnov pauses and reaches into his bag and pulls out a black ore chunk and tosses it to Tom "see feel the difference that there chunk has been me most common tool for shaping"

I fumble with the rock before getting a solid grip on it. "Yeah, this does feel different then the metals I use".

Karnov chuckles as he tosses the metal back into the forge and he gets up for a moment and finds a simple chunk of iron ore and takes it in his hand "that there your holding used to be like this" shows the iron.

"Hm? How so?"
