Replacing an old rose

"...you want to bet your eyes?" I say after a slight pause. "I'll take that bet." and then I take out 6 dice in one hand and a single coin in the other "Choose your game."

I lean back, and watch them and their bet. Still think this is a rather unfair bet. I'll leave that to him and best of luck to both of you." I yawn softly and wait.

I pull off my glasses and place them on the ground "if you win you take away my eyes, did you think I ment my real eyes? If so then I probably should have explained." I think for a moment. "Lets flip the coin since I don't feel like playing dice this is just quick and fast."
As I say this Liam and Alice perk up "what the wench doesn't know is that is he has other ways to see like his hawk form."

"So your glasses huh... just as well sentimental and all." I flips the coin high into the air "Call it." And then I stand there looking at him my palm outstretched.

"Heads" I say hoping luck is on myside today.

The coin lands tails right in the center of my hand. "Looks like I win." I say picking up the glasses.

"Not like I expected her to lose." I shrug and begin to leave again. "Have fun with your new glasses."

I look at the coin and give her my glasses "I guess luck favored you." I look to Ember who is already walking off and think to Liam, Alice, and myself. Well we have a reason to find her again.

"Luck always favors a lady." I say winking "Now to put these in my collection..." before tucking them into the top of my dress. "I suppose you'll want these eventually...? Oh, and Ember that really is a great scarf... find me if you ever want to make a bet for something important."

I stop and turn around. "What if I bet a night that you could make me do what ever you want, except for giving you my scarf?" I look at her, curious what her reaction will be. "For my rose of course."

"There is other ways to see." I say turning into a hawk and flying to a rock "I will eventually need them back but for now I can make do." I then fly out of view and wait for her answer to Ember.

I giggle a little "Oh, that would be fun... but we'd need a special game... and of course my wager." I crack my neck and knuckles before continuing "What to play..." I then look at Ember "any suggestions?"

"You would be putting my my rose." I stand there for a moment if I should add the hawk's glasses as well but decide not to. "Very well I will play."

"Hmm... I suppose" I hold out my hands again but this time in my left hand is 5 playing cards and in the other is 3 dice. "Choose your game."

"How does this make it a special game?" I look at the dice and cards, a little wary of them. "And if I have to pick, I'll go with the cards." I wait for her to do what ever she plans to.

I put the dice away and fan out the cards so Ember can see the pictures 4 cards showing blank white while the middle card shows a beautifully drawn picture of a young woman. "Just find the lady." I say grinning.

"Sounds simple enough." I wait for Zinres do shuffle them and make it for me and turn around.

I quickly shuffle the cards and then I fan them out the backs to Ember and let them go the cards floating in the air an inch from each other "I love these cards... Anyway find the Pretty Woman."

I turn back around and pic the one of the far right, sighing as it turns out to be wrong. "Well It seem you have me for a night." I sit down and wait for Zinres to tell me what to do.

I smile widely "Oh, no no no. Not tonight... I'll collect your debt some other night dear... Don't forget because I won't." I say as I tuck the rose back into my hair. I turn and wave to him as I walk away. "Have fun alright you never know when I'll take you."

"Yeah..." I shrug and decide to leave the area. That is gonna be an interesting night. I begin to head back to town after the bet. "That could have gone better..."
