Re: Training a Fallen.
"Hm..." I thought for a second. "Let's see if I can kick it up a notch...". I do the same thing as before but this time I focus more energy toward my hand. When I did the thrust motion, 3 fireballs came out simultaneously. They completely demolish the brick they made contact with. "Well...I think that's the most I'm gonna be able to get of that move..." I smirk. "Pretty impressive so far, hm?"

"Check this out," Nikolai replied. Right after, Nikolai thrust his hands forward to no effect....

"Well, that's interesting, you're the teacher, and you're having trouble with what your teaching me". I chuckle.

Re: Training a Fallen.
Nikolai made a sly smile on his face as a huge fireball, about the size of him pulsated from his hand. The fireball consumed three of the training posts.

"I stand corrected". I chuckle a bit. "Now then, I suppose we should move on to something else..."

Re: Training a Fallen.
I ponder for a moment. "How's about teaching me how to do a flamethrower?"

"Okay." Nikolai then took a deep breath and flickered his hands slowly with his eyes closed. Then suddenly, he thrust his palm forward and a wind-like fire pulsated from his hand.

"Nice", I exclaimed. "I think I'm gonna feel right at home with fire magic!". I attempt to copy what he did. When I thrust my palm forward out came a flamethrower that rivaled the strength of the demon's

"I heard you saying something about being on the level of that accursed Angel killer. Please, explain," Nikolai replied as he examined the fire.

"Well...Haku is an archangel, and me being an exiled, I've lost most of my powers that would have made me quite a match for him. Now, I need to build that strength back up in other avenues to catch Haku off-guard". I hadn't realized it, but my flamethrower was still going.

"I find it easier just to avoid people like that altogether," Nikolai sighed. "Don't get me wrong, I can take them on if they provoke me, but I'm not someone to throw the first blow unless it's justified".

The flamethrower flickered out. "Same, most of the fighting I do is sparring or trying to defend myself, I never really look for fights. My current state makes me only more powerful then other humans. Any other race I have no idea how I compare, and I don't dare take a chance until I feel like I have enough of an arsenal to take them on".

"Well, I know full well, which is why I've requested training in fire manipulation from you. He doesn't have that, so that is something that could be used to my advantage if I train hard enough with it".

"Let's see if I can't combine my wind manipulation with this fire manipulation". I take a second to focus energy for a wind cannon, blasting a gust of wind with a stream of fire within it. It hit it's target with extreme force and burning power. "How's that?"

Re: Training a Fallen.
"Good to know. Now then, let's see how crafty I can get with this". I form a small life force bomb, and add some fire magic to it, firing it into the air causing a pretty big explosion". Sweet, I can combine it with my life energy attacks too!" I take a breather. "Well, that did it for tiring me out, perhaps I should take a short break".

"Okay, we'll take five." Nikolai relayed. He took his cards out of his pocket and started flipping through them. "So if this Haku guy does find you, how will you go about fighting? I know I'd use a Defensive leading to Offensive approach."

"I will evade him till I have no choice but to defend myself. After that, it'd be instinct I guess".
