a break from things

After having a rough few weeks, I decided I needed a break from everything and went down to the river. I always enjoy this place. I sigh softly as I breath in the fresh air, making myself a little tired and lay down by a tree as I watch the birds and the fish doing their thing.

*bored, dangles her feet in the water and plays with a big bunny ear of her new body* https://i.imgur.com/wnMOe.gif ... peaceful.. even if a bit boring...

The sound of someones voice attracts my attention and I look along the river to see a cute looking bunny girl. I blush softly and stand up from the tree that I was laying against and begin to walk towards her. "Hello there, whats wrong with it being boring?" I asked her with a warm smile on my face.

*carefully looks at him and twitches an ear* ... because it's nicer with company. *offers a seat next to her*

"IT all depends on the company." I smile softly and sit down next to her. "My name is Ember, what is yours?" I take my shoes off and put them into the river, enjoying the cool water flowing across them.

Naonna. hybrid. *shyly watches our feet* ... what's your species, if i may ask...? you don't seem quite human - although i can't place what it is.

"I'm a vampire, what kind of hybrid are you?" I lean against her softly, happy to have met someone to get my mind off of things. "I always loved coming to this river, now I seem to be to busy with other things to get here as often as I like."

... for simplicity's sake, ill just say 'bunny' and leave it at that... *plays with an ear* ... you know that relaxing is nice. *leans on him, despite the rumors she's heard about vampires* .. you're squishy.

"Your pretty soft yourself you know." I blush softly as I place an arm around her to get more comfortable. "So what do you mean by simplicity's sake?" I look down at her, wondering what she meant by that.

i'd ask not to delve too far into it. *twitches an ear shyly* .... didn't think vampires liked anything but human girls..

"That is rather offensive, Vampires still have likes and dislikes as humans and hybrid, I usually don't mind the race of who I'm with as look as I think they are cute and a good company." I smile softly as I watch a fish jump out of the river onto the river bank next to us. "That poor little guy." I gently pick up the flailing fish and put it back into the river.

...i thought you eat blood and anything smaller than you.... *wonders about the stereotype* ..... im actually surprised you haven't already bit me...*wonders of his reaction*

"Vampires aren't constantly hungry for blood, and we can drink tomato juice as a substitute." I smile softly as I look watch the fish that I put back in the water swim down the river. "So what brought you around here?"

i like being near water... that's all - uh... just a preference is all.. *watches her feet* .... sort of confusing but.... i drink a bit more than most people. *twitches a fuzzy ear* Sort of important to keep me healthy. Although i don't kill stuff to get it... *wonders if vampries can consume without killing*

"You act as if vampires kill the people they drink from." I chuckle a little and pet her softly. Its so cute how innocent she is. "We can kill someone from drinking all of their blood, but usually we don't and leave them thirsty and a little dizzy."

*blushes at being pet - not used to it* .... vampires are looked down upon almost as much as demons where i used to live...

"Some vampires tend to not care about the people they drink from, or for their own kind." I look down as I keep petting her. I wish That they wouldn't always be like that... With a sigh, I change the subject. "Is there anything you want to do?"

*carefully considers something* .... do vamps know how to swim? *splashes into the river fully clothed: poking her head out as water runs off her ears and soaks her hair* ... water's nice and warm...

I laugh softly as she jumps in. "Yes I can swim, but I can't answer for the rest of my kind." I take my shirt and pants off, leaving myself in just my boxers and my scarf on me and jump in after her. "Why didn't you take your clothes off? Your gonna be cold when you get out."

because boys act different when i have no clothes on... although it's cute that you're asking, ill have to deny the request. - especially since i don't quite know you yet.

"Fair enough, but I am just looking out for you. And besides, I don't think i can be called a boy at 700 years." I blush softly as I tel her how old I really am. "And I wouldn't do anything unless you said it was okay to."

...a bit over-age for a 19 year old i think.... *twitches a floppy ear in thought* ....tell you what... i'll let you feed. - but only if it's in the water.... you must really want bunny-blood... right..?

My stomach growls quietly as she offers some of her blood for me. "Well if your offering, I gladly accept." I swim towards her and place a hand around her back to keep her close. "This may hurt a little."

Pain doesn't affect me too much... don't worry. *twitches an ear playfully*

"Okay." I open my mouth, revealing my sharp fangs for a moment before I bite down onto her neck. I start to drink her blood, not knowing that it wasn't truly blood, feeling it sate me for the moment. After ten or so seconds past by, I pull mt mouth off of her and swim away a little. "You taste really nice." I smile softly and blush. I hope she doesn't catch a cold in those clothes.
