Hunting in the forest.

Annie carefully stalked through the forest, senses on high alert. She was in human form so she would be quieter. She stalked through the under brush, looking for food. Her ears and tail twitched from time to time, her blue eyes searching the trees and ground for any type of food.

Shrade was sitting by a small lake in the forest the lake was surrounded by brush and trees. As he knelled down and washed his face only his tail stuck out of the bush swishing somewhat hanging out.

Annie stalked a little farther, heading for the lake she occasionally hunted by. As she got closer she saw a tail stick out of a bush, and shifted to her white tiger form. She stalked closer, then pounced on the tail, grabbing it under her claws.

Shrade yelped loudly and tried to move his tail "hey what gives who are you" he quickly turned and looked through the bush and saw a white tiger "w...who are you?"

Annie looked up and saw the guy, and she stared at him for a moment. Then she retracted her claws and ran off, hiding behind a tree. She shifted back to her human form, tail sticking out from behind the tree she was hiding behind. She peeked out. "W-Who are you?" She asked, blue eyes wide.

Shrade lightly hugged his tail and stroked it hoping to ease any pain that was caused "i'm shrade a wolf" He looked at her "and who are you?" he curiously tilted his head as he looked.

Annie stared at him, before gulping. "I-I'm Annie, a-a white tiger." She said cautiously. Her tail twitched, as did her ears. She peaked out a little farther.

He smiles noticing her shyness "I take it you were hunting out here" he lets go of his tail and looks at the tiger "your kind is really rare here, how are you?"

Annie stood there in her human form, and peaked out so her head was visible. "Y-Yes, I was hunting." She said, then tilted her head. "I-I guess so. I haven't seen another white tiger except for my family... I'm o-ok." She said, looking away for a split second, then watched him again.

He smiles at her as he walks over to her. "sorry did i scare you?" he giggled at the fact a tiger was soo shy "why are you soo shy?" he looked curiously at her.

Annie blushed heavily, then yelped as he got closer. She backed up, hiding behind a tree farther back. "M-My family was, uh, killed by, poachers. I-I don't like people, anymore." She told him, peaking out from the tree.

Shrade thought for a moment and then changed into his wolf form "is this better?" he took a step forward. He looked curiously at her wondering if she'll back up more or not.

Annie just looked at him, but she seemed to relax a little bit. "A little bit." She told him, but stayed behind the tree.

He slowly continued to walk to her "you don't need to worry after all you could probably kill me without even trying" shrade laughed lightly as he sat down with his tail wagging back and fourth.

Annie blinked, realizing it was true. She came out from behind the tree a bit farther, realizing how close he was. She gulped, but held her ground. "I-I'm really sorry for being so shy..." She said, facing her fear and coming out from behind the tree.

Shrade tilted his head then seemed to be bowing it "it's alright if anything i think an apology for pouncing my tail would have been better" shrade gave a small laugh "it's quite alright i don't mind either of the things that happened after all i'm not eaten"

Annie laughed a little bit, quietly. "Sorry for your tail. But I don't know, I'm still hungry." She said teasingly, but she still looked a little shy. Her head was tilted down slightly, and her hands were behind her back.

Shrade gave a nervous sort of laugh as his tail slowed a bit in it's wagging "i...i see" He looked around "sorry i'm..not really much of a hunter, i never got to live with a wolf pack, after all i was exiled from them for looking too human when i was born"

Annie noticied he seemed a little... Less happy? "I'm sorry you weren't in a pack, I guess. I wouldn't know how important that is. And don't worry, uh, Shrade. I was kidding." She said, looking a little worried. Did he hate her now? "I-I can teach you how to hunt better, if you want." She told him.

he smiled a little to her as his tail wagged more "th..thanks but..to be honest i've lived too long with humans it's just easier to go out and buy food you know, although i'm sure you don't go into towns much do you?"

Annie blinked. "N-No actually. I spend most of my time in town. I only come out to hunt. I... I'm too scared to stay out here too long." She said, holding one of her arms. She kneeled down on to her knees.

He looked at her "don't worry i'll help protect you if you want" he curiously looked at her "after all poachers wouldn't want to deal with a pissed off wolf now would they?"

Annie thought for a moment. "I-I don't know. They dealt with my daddy, and he was very angry, and my three brothers. I hid, and my sisters ran, but the poachers caught them." She told him, shivering as she remembered their screams and cries.

He carefully walks up to her and nuzzles into her trying to comfort her
"hey it's okay your not alone i'll be here for you if you want" he nuzzled into her a bit more.

Annie looked at him, stiff as he nuzzled her. She started trusting him more and more, but it wasn't complete yet. "T-Thank you..." She said, hesitantly placing a hand on his back, petting him slowly.
