A sad day at the river

Nikolai passed a comb throughout his hair, while Sterling just stood there. "Well....."

I pondered the thought for a moment. "Perhaps I saw someone who looked kinda like you in an illustration in a book while I was still an angel..."

Atrax waved her hand blowing off that thought. "The only book i might be in is the one written by the angel that killed me. Whatever..." Dionea stood beside her, sad that she cant even control her own body. "Now then... Please tell me your names. You know mine i must know yours..."

"Nikolai Forge. Pleased to meet you."
"Sterling Axel. What he said."

"Tom Bluemann's the name". I continue to ponder

Atrax picked up a random-as-hell black widow. It seemed to like her... If spiders have emotions. "Well my host's name is Dionea. She is pleased to meet you..."

"So, what brings you here?"

"That is a question you take up with my host. I am only here because she took us here..." she pet the Widow like a pet, while looking at them intently. She tried to figure them out.

"So, mind I ask WHY you reside in the body of a little girl? Was she just the closest thing to you or was it some kind of chosen matter?"

"Yeah. Judging by the severity of this situation, the least you could've done was take control of a grown woman."

"Please now, she looks almost exactly like me. And i died while i was young, so i feel i should inherit a young body, one that looks, as i said, almost exactly like mine. The only things seperating us are pur hair and eye colors. Does that answer all questions?" she sounded annoyed with this. Dionea just sighed as she explained all of this thinking of some way to get back in control.

"Alright..." It was clear she was giving off a negative vibe, and I could sense it. What other reason would there be to everyone but me and the 2 demons from even getting withing 10 feet of her? The more I focused on it the more it seemed like I could view into her soul.

"Perfectly," Nikolai replied. "I would investigate further, but my schedule doesn't allow for it." While Nikolai was saying this, a phone rang off in Sterling's pocket. He read the phone and realized he needed to do something. "I have to go. I'll see you both later." Sterling immediately bolted, as Nikolai stood there. "Tom, you feel that?" he whispered.

As atrax continued her conversation Dionea sat with her average depressed look on her face. She wanted to swim, but she couldnt. She wanted to smell the flowers, but she couldnt. Everything she wanted to do she needed her body for. /Please atrax, can i have my body back now?/ when Atrax completely ignored her she just started to cry with her face in her hands.

"Yeah, it's the negative energy that she's giving off right?" I continue to focus on the energy until I could swear I saw the other girl within

"Yeah...... She emits a wave that baffles me."

Atrax didnt care for what they said. "Well whatever. I give off nevative energy i get that a lot..." she waved a hand to blow that off. Dionea, still sobbing decided to make another futile attempt to take her body back. /please atrax.../ /SHUT UP DIONEA/

I was startled. Had I heard that right? Was I even hearing something at all? At first I figured I was crazy, but I could sense the pain of someone deep within her soul. "Why don't you let her have control of her own body?" I said this in a stern voice.

"I agree. If two people are going to work together, one shouldn't dictate the other."

Atrax was caught fully off guard with that one. "I allow her much more time than i get. She never actually allows me to take control, so when i do come out i wanna take my time..."

"Can't you feel that she's hurting? That just isn't right!" I continue with the stern voice.

Atrax laughed. Dionea just stayed put while hugging her knees. "If she was hurt shed tell me. Its not like id deny her her own body, its just if i want my time out ill take it. I allow her whenever she wants, if im not using it..." she continued on wondering how they could tell how Dionea felt. Ahe drifted off into thought for a moment.

Nikolai whispered to Tom, "I'm not all too good with exorcisms."

I whisper back. "I don't think that's gonna help much anyway..." I turn back to her. "The negative energy resonating from you is so strong, I was able to stare into the deep recesses of your soul...in other words, for a moment I was able to read your thoughts and the emotions of the person in which body you reside in".

"Yeah thats great. I dont care." Atrax just sat down with a "still processing this" look while Dionea stood up. /Uh Atrax... I think he meant that he saw me. Is that even possible?/ /Whether he did or didnt i still dont care./ Dionea stared at tom confused, trying to figure out how he even did that.
